My name is Andrew Mangano. I have been a Professional Engineer (B.E. UWA, Grad.Dip.Bus.) for over 35 years and have been a resident of the Nedlands Electorate for over 25 years.

I have owned and operated my own business since 2006. Since then I have worked on many infrastructure projects in Western Australia.

​

I am standing for election as I believe our electorate has been neglected by the major parties and it is time for a change.

​

I will focus on the economic delivery of infrastructure while preserving the environment, as follows:

 

• State funding for underground power in Hollywood and Floreat.

• Renovation of Sunset Hospital buildings in conjunction with the National Trust and populate the facility with arts, culture and community organisations.

• Retention of urban canopy to preserve bushland habitat and protect endangered species.

• Retention of Subiaco Oval for the long term future.

• Widening of Thomas St from Hay St to Kings Park Rd.

I am an active member of the local community. Currently I am a member of the Friends of Point Resolution Reserve, a member of the Sunset Heritage Association, and a councillor representing Dalkeith Ward on the City of Nedlands.

I take a strong interest in the delivery of infrastructure at local, state and federal levels of government.
